About

Sweet of you to check out this page, but no, I’m not among those who sold everything and went on to travel for a few months months and ended up doing so for years until this very day. Por que?

  • I don’t have a powerful passport. (Yes, I take pride in applying for visas.)
  • English is not my mother tongue. (No, I can’t easily teach English in a foreign country despite English being an official language in my motherland.)
  • I’m not rich and don’t come from a country whose currency holds great responsibility value. (Spider-Man?)

Now, I’m not being a bitter gourd, because I have no right to be. I’m just saying that it’s never the same for everyone. So don’t ever compare yourself to others.

I’ve been blogging since 2004 and Itinerant was born for the purpose of sharing itineraries (duh) and expenses, whenever available. Unlike other travel blogs, I bombard posts with photos, making them more personal.

I’m an outdated software engineer by profession with the attention span of a fruit fly. There’s your explanation as to why there’s hardly any content here until now.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.”

β€”Mark Twain

You could say that I live by quotes like the one above, as I’d jump off a plane or a bridge in a heartbeat. I commit a mortal sin each time I say no to a beer or the beach.
