“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.”
I’m Nelson Aclan, an outdated software engineer with the attention span of a fruit fly. (There’s your explanation as to why there’s hardly any content until now—but I’m on it.) Hailing from San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, I’ve been coding, tweaking, and weblogging since 2004. Itinerant was born because apparently I have itchy feet, on top of them being big and smelly. Unlike other blogs, I bombard posts with photos to give readers a feel of how the experience unfolded and how they could do the same. You will only find trivia (and the like) here when I actually learned about them during the trip and not just after reading it online for the sake of content (unless otherwise explicitly stated).
As much as I’d love to write full-time here, I still don’t have the balls to do so for reasons which I’ll only tell you when I’m inebriated. You could say that I live by quotes like the one above as I’d bungee or jump off a plane in a heartbeat. I commit a mortal sin each time I say no to a beer or the beach and would rather travel on my own than be with lazy asses who whine as if this fucked-up world is on their shoulders.
